Find your way around
Use the sidebar to open documents, the top bar to search, and Settings to change your preferences.
Open documents and tools
Section titled “Open documents and tools”- New creates a New document, a New database or a New folder, or brings files in with Import from Markdown.
- All documents shows the workspace’s folders and documents. Favorites holds the ones you’ve starred, and Shared with me the ones other people shared with you directly. Collections are named sets of documents you can point Ask at.
- Ask your documents asks a question across your documents, once the person who set up Stuga has enabled built-in AI.
- Review AI edits lists AI edits for you to review; edits wait for review by default.
- Trash, at the bottom, keeps deleted documents for 30 days by default.
- Settings is at the bottom too.
Drag the sidebar’s edge to make it wider or narrower.
Search and switch workspaces
Section titled “Search and switch workspaces”- The workspace switcher, beside Stuga’s name, shows the workspace you’re in. Open it to switch to another of your workspaces, or to Create workspace.
- Search all documents finds documents and runs commands, such as New document or Review AI edits. Press ⌘K on a Mac, or Ctrl+K, to open it from anywhere.
- The bell shows your Notifications from every workspace you’re in: mentions, documents shared with you, and AI changes waiting for you. A dot means something is unread.
- Your avatar opens Profile, Help and feedback and Sign out.
Find a document’s controls
Section titled “Find a document’s controls”The bar at the top shows the document’s title and who else is in it right now. On the right:
- Outline, the document’s headings.
- The side panels: AI co-author, Comments, Versions and Sources.
- The ⋯ menu, with Rename…, Move to folder…, Move to Trash and the document’s own settings.
- Share, to give people access to this document.
Click the Stuga mark at the top left to go back to All documents.
Change your settings
Section titled “Change your settings”Settings has up to three groups:
- Preferences are yours alone: Profile (your name, email and password), Appearance, and Your AI agents, where you connect your own AI tool.
- This workspace, followed by the workspace’s name: General, Members and Agents. Members with the Owner or Admin role also see Audit log and AI usage.
- This node shows only for the person who set up Stuga, and anyone they let look after it: AI, access, backups, updates and more.
- Create documents and folders: start writing.
- Search your workspace: by words or by meaning.
- Review what an AI changed: accept or reject suggestions.
