Uninstall Stuga

For the person who set up Stuga.

You choose whether to keep your documents and backups on the Mac or delete them too.

Uninstall on a Mac

1. Click the Stuga mark in the menu bar and choose Uninstall Stuga….
2. Choose what happens to your data:
   • Uninstall, Keep Data removes Stuga and keeps your documents and backups on this Mac. If you install Stuga again, it picks them up.
   • Uninstall and Delete Data removes Stuga, your documents and its backups.
   • Cancel leaves everything as it is.
3. Enter the Mac’s administrator password.

Stuga stops, and the menu goes away.

Caution

Uninstall and Delete Data deletes the backups on this Mac too. Before you choose it, export each workspace you want to keep. See Export a workspace.

Uninstall with Docker

On Docker, removing Stuga keeps your data unless you delete it on purpose. The Docker guide on GitHub, linked below, has the steps.
