Review what an AI changed

By default, edits to document text and databases wait for review with the AI tool’s name on them.

The person who connected the AI tool gets a notification and reviews its changes. The item’s owner, or someone with the Owner or Admin role in the workspace, can decide too.

  1. Open the document. A banner names the tool and counts its proposed edits.
  2. Beside a suggestion, choose Accept or Reject. Use Previous change and Next change in the banner to move between suggestions.
  3. When Review each is available, choose it to see the changes as a list, including changes that cannot be shown in the document.
  4. To decide the whole set, choose Accept all or Reject all.

After accepting the last change, a message briefly offers Undo.

Above the table, choose Review each in the AI tool’s banner. For each listed change, choose Accept this change or Reject this change, or decide the whole set with Accept all or Reject all.

In the sidebar, choose Review AI edits. It lists AI changes in documents and databases you can open.

  • Show filters the list: Needs review, In progress, Finished or Everything. Needs review includes suggestions and direct edits nobody has looked at yet.
  • Agent filters by AI tool. Review changes opens an item needing attention.
  • Each row’s ⋯ menu offers the actions that apply, such as Accept all suggestions, Reject all suggestions, Revert these changes or Mark as reviewed.

AI activity, below the list, shows each tool’s record of kept, rejected and undone changes.

An item set to Let AI edits apply directly applies changes without waiting. Those changes stay recorded with the tool’s name.

In a document’s notice, choose View changes to inspect them or Revert to undo them where possible. Later edits can prevent undo; use version history to recover earlier text. To keep the changes and close the notice, use its dismiss control and confirm with Dismiss.

In a database’s notice, choose View activity or Revert all. Later edits to the same rows may be lost when you undo.
