Connect Codex
The Codex command line and editor extension use the same setup. Edits to document text and databases wait for your review, by default.
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- Codex on your computer.
- Stuga open in a browser on the same computer.
Add Stuga
Section titled “Add Stuga”-
In Stuga, open Settings → Your AI agents. Under App, choose Codex.
-
Copy the command under Run once in Terminal:, with its copy button, and run it in Terminal.
Copy it from Stuga: it carries your Stuga’s address. It holds no key.
-
Your browser opens Stuga’s approval page. Choose the workspaces and the access, then Allow.
-
Restart Codex when the command finishes.
To check, ask Codex to find a document in Stuga. Edits wait for review by default; a document or database set to Let AI edits apply directly applies them at once.
Remove it
Section titled “Remove it”In Your AI agents, open Uninstall from Codex. It shows two commands:
- Disconnect this node removes this Stuga and keeps Stuga’s instructions for Codex, for when you use more than one Stuga.
- Remove Stuga completely removes those instructions too.
Neither ends Codex’s access: revoke the connection under Connected agents, then restart Codex.
- Review what an AI changed: accept or reject Codex’s suggestions.
- Choose what an AI tool can reach: what the approval page means.
- Give AI tools instructions: tell Codex where notes go.
